Return Policy – Updated January 6, 2021
Garden Supplies, Gifts & Decor Return Policy
For a full refund, returns must be made within 30 days and be accompanied by a receipt.
For a store credit, returns must be made within 60 days and be accompanied by a receipt.
Rick’s reserves the right to refuse a refund without an itemized Rick’s receipt.
Items must be in original condition. Rick’s reserves the right to refuse a return if the merchandise is used, opened, or in any way inferior from its original condition. Opened products will not be accepted for a return unless the product is deemed faulty by Rick’s. Please see manufacturer’s warranty on product packaging for specific product warranty information.
Items NOT Eligible for Return
No refunds are given on sale items, food products (including vegetable and herb plants), Christmas trees, wreaths, greenery and other live holiday décor.
Houseplant, Annual Flowers & Perennial Plant Return Policy
Rick’s has been in the nursery and gardening business for over 70 years, and we pride ourselves on providing our community with the highest quality plants. Once plants leave Rick’s care, we cannot control plant care or conditions. Therefore, Rick’s cannot be responsible for any damage or loss caused by insects, diseases, animals, weather conditions, neglect, mechanical devices, or changing garden conditions.
Houseplants, annual flowers, and perennials may be returned for store credit up to three days from purchase date if accompanied by an itemized Rick’s receipt. Plants must be returned in a condition so that they can be resold (not removed from the container, neglected, damaged, etc.). Plants will be subject to Rick’s assessment of condition prior to any approval of exchange or store credit.
Vegetable and herb plant products may not be returned as these are food products.
Tree & Shrub Return Policy
To be eligible for return, trees and shrubs must be part of our warranty program. Our tree and shrub warranty program requires the customer to purchase supplementary materials and take additional action steps – inquire with our nursery staff for more information.
